ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Students acquire knowledge related to the functioning of banks, the financing structure of corporations and the financial services market on a national, regional and global scale. They also learn the specifics of bank asset management and their impact on both the microeconomic and macroeconomic levels. In parallel, students learn how bank lending can be used as a tool for sustainable economic development. The major's curriculum includes disciplines that provide highly specialized knowledge of cash flow management, capital and risk management strategies, the creation and enforcement of new financial products and enterprises.
Learners in this program are prepared to make the connection between banking and financial market development, financial stability and economic development. They also possess the competencies to successfully prepare and manage budgets and are familiar with the importance of presentation skills for success in business and government affairs. They possess competitive advantages for working in various business organizations as managers, analysts and experts, consultants in the field of finance and banking. They can apply the acquired knowledge at different management levels in financial and banking institutions at the national and international level. They also have the competencies to successfully run their own business.
