VUZF University and Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bulgaria are starting a specialized certificate course on Korean Economic Development
On 31 January 2017 H.E. Shin Boonam, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Bulgaria, visited for the first time VUZF University of Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship. Assoc. Prof. Grigorii Vazov, rector ot VUZF University, discussed with the new Ambassador the relationships with Korean universities and scientific institutes and the opportunities for partnership through research projects and mobility of professors and students through exchange programs. Мrs. Detelina Smilkova, vice-president of VUZF University, emphasized during the meeting on the advantages of the education model of VUZF University.
The meeting focused also on the partnership between the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and VUZF University for the launch of a specialized certificate course on Korean Economic Development, which will be open for students from all universities as well as for representatives of the private and government sectors. The course will start in March this year and it will be led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Evgeni Evgeniev, who has research experience on Republic of Korea where he also spent time as a lecturer.
