Master’s degree applicants of Bulgarian citizenship submit the following documents:

1. Application envelope consisting of application documents (it can be downloaded from the VUZF web-site or purchased in the VUZF University bookstore or booth during education fairs and exhibitions).
2. Copy and original of the diploma for completed higher education. The original is brought back to the applicant after data comparison with the copy.
3. Proof of payment of respective fees - document submission fee.
4. Valid TOEFL, IELTS, O level and A level exams in English or Cambridge ESOL – CAE, CPE certificate – applies ONLY for applicants to Financial Management and Marketing (in English).
4. Document from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science recognizing completed higher education in a foreign university (for applicants who have completed their university education abroad).

Socially disadvantaged applicants (blind, deaf, people with permanent disabilities and reduced working capacity by 70 or more per cent, disabled soldiers/ex-service, complete orphans to the age of 25 in the year of application, entities grown to adulthood in orphanages and deprived of parental care, as well as twins and mothers with three or more children) provide documents certifying the respective circumstances.

Applicants, who have not completed their secondary education at the time of the document submission, present original and copy of the secondary education diploma at the moment of their enrollment as students in the VUZF University.

Master’s degree applicants of foreign citizenship submit the following documents:

1. Application envelope consisting of application documents (it can be downloaded from the VUZF web-site or purchased in the VUZF University bookstore or booth during education fairs and exhibitions).
2. Copy of the diploma for completed higher education and copy of the annex including scores.
4. Academic record (part-time studies applicants).
5. Medical certificate issued one month before the date of application and certified by the appropriate authorities in the applicant’s country of origin.
6. Copy of the citizenship documentation (applies for applicants with dual citizenship, one of which is Bulgarian).
7. Valid TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge ESOL – CAE, CPE certificate – applies ONLY for applicants to  Financial Management and Marketing or International economics and finance (in English) majors
8. Document certifying the level of proficiency in Bulgarian (applies for applicants to programs taught in Bulgarian language).
9. Proof of payment of applicant’s document submission fee.
10. Four current photographs of size 3.5 / 4.5 cm.

Important for non EU citizens - Documents under section 2-5 must be authenticated, translated and certified in accordance to the provisions of the international treaties conducted between the Republic of Bulgaria and the country in which they are issued. When no such agreements is signed, the documents must be authenticated, translated and certified in accordance to the general procedure for legalization, translation and authentication of documents and other papers. The above mentioned documents are required from the Bulgarian Ministry of Education, Youth and Science in regard to the Visa type D issuance.

Application documents shall be submitted to the VUZF University “Study Activities” Department or sent by post, with a copy of the proof of payment of required fees (document submission fee, or exam fee – if required, paid either in the university bookstore or via bank transfer).
No changes and additions to the submitted documents are allowed.
Submitted documents will not be returned to the students.

Master’s degree
The first two forms are to be printed, completed by hand, signed and sent by post with the payment order of the bank transfer amounting of 50 BGN, a copy of the diploma for completed higher education in an envelope with the address of the applicant.

Master’s, Financial Management and Marketing or International Economics and finance (in English)
The first two forms are to be printed, completed by hand, signed and sent by post with the bank transfer payment order for the amount of 50 € for native and foreign applicants, a copy of the diploma for completed secondary education in an envelope with the address of the applicant.
